New Gauges and Valves Installation
Installing new gauges and valves on propane tanks ensures accurate pressure readings and safe, efficient fuel control. This upgrade enhances system reliability, supports regulatory compliance, and helps prevent leaks or overfilling.
New Gauge and Valve Installation and Testing Process
Valve & Gauge Installation
Once the tank cools after exiting the cure oven, new RegO® service valves and remote-ready gauges are installed.
Vacuum Purge
After new valves and gauges are installed, a vacuum is pulled on the tank to remove oxygen and moisture.
Methanol
ASME Tanks 120 gallons and larger are filled with methanol at a rate of 1 gallon per 1000 gallons of tank capacity.
Tank Rolling
Gauge flat operation check: The tank is rolled after the gauge is installed to ensure the float arm operates freely.
