State-of-the-Art Refurbishing Process

Refurbishing a propane tank is an economical process that ensures safety, reliability, and longevity for continued use. Through a series of thorough inspections and the refurbishment process, tanks are restored to meet strict safety standards.

Refurbishing Process

Unload & Inventory

Upon arrival to our facility each tank is unloaded and inventoried recording data plate information, tank style and general condition.

Tank Evacuation

After unload, tanks are inverted and evacuated removing all LP vapor pressure and sediment including heavy ends.

Valve Removal

Old valves are removed and openings are inspected for damage before being prepared for blasting.

Tank Blasting

Tanks are steel shot blasted to a bare metal allowing us to conduct an external visual inspection and apply a durable coating.

Powder Coating

Along with a powder coater operator, tanks are coated using 16 electronically controlled powder guns producing and even finish every time.
